| I
remember a time when I was close to the ground, willingly distracted by things
deemed simple: the fur of my dog, raindrops, shadows, each clearly divine to
young eyes, pleasures that made the world good.
Now I live adult complexities. Days are spent in boxes of isolation: the automobile, computer, television, sometimes my own camera. Time brought demystification, the world is not always good. These photographs yearn for a season that has passed and strive for remystification. |
